Description
Port of Tauranga is an international freight gateway for the country’s imports and exports, and the only New Zealand port able to accommodate the largest container vessels to visit here. Port of Tauranga handles a third of all New Zealand cargo, nearly 40% of New Zealand exports and 42% of all shipping containers.
Join us on an opportunity to tour the Port’s world-class facilities in Tauranga, including the country’s largest and fastest-growing container terminal, extensive bulk cargo wharves and storage facilities, and bunker berths. What better time to visit than during cruise season? We are expecting two cruise ships alongside on the day.
Please be at the Port from 5.00pm for a 5.30pm briefing and departure by bus at 5.45pm.

- 6.45pm Opportunity for further networking and presentation from The Port
The tour will be followed by a networking opportunity, with food and refreshments.
Please bring a photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport).
Join us for the opportunity to network and learn more about women at the Port of Tauranga, but tour of the Port operations and a relaxed, informal discussion over wine and nibbles. Welcome from 5pm for a 5.45pm bus tour.
Cancellations must be received prior to 10am the day before the event or training seminar. Any cancellation and/or changes must be made in writing to events@tauranga.org.nz Cancellations after this time or non attendance will require payment, however substitutions are welcome.
