What does the 2024 budget mean for you?

The Tauranga Business Chamber is hosting a breakfast with a focus on how the 2024 budget will affect you and your business. This years budget promises to have some very interesting aspects, of which both Mark and Natalie, can help explain and the impact that these budget decisions will have on you and your business.  Both Mark and Natalie are experts and commentators on all manner of the economy.

Mark Lister - Investment Director - Mark is Investment Director for Craigs Investment Partners, and is a member of the company's Executive Committee.  

He joined Craigs in 2004 as an equity analyst, before leading the Private Wealth Research team from 2007 until 2022 and focusing on portfolio strategy.  He spends much of his time engaging with clients across the Craigs network, interacting with media organisations, as well as supporting the broader Craigs leadership team.  As a member of the Investment Committee, he helps shapes the asset allocation, strategy, and portfolio recommendation decisions for Craigs clients.

Natalie Berkett - KPMG Tax Expert - 

Natalie is a Director in our Tauranga tax practice and has over 18 years’ tax advisory experience with KPMG. Natalie advises clients on a wide range of domestic and international tax issues with her experience covering a broad spectrum of industries including Export, Infrastructure, Financial Services and Horticulture. Natalie’s current client base spans both large corporate entities and privately owned businesses in the local Bay of Plenty area. Outside of work, Natalie is a member of the ExportNZ Bay of Plenty Executive Committee and Mount Maunganui Sports Club Board.

This will be an informative morning with relevant information about the budget and our local businesses. 

A light breakfast will be served.
