WHO WE ARE

Enspire is an established boutique provider of exceptional policy, planning, strategy, freshwater ecology and associated services, throughout New Zealand.

We officially launched in March of 2018, having been formed and operating since October 2017.  Enspire has its roots in another consulting firm which began offering ecological services in Dunedin in 1995 and then established a planning presence in 2008.  That presence started with a single planner and has grown into a team of six planners and a freshwater ecologist, based in Tauranga.

While we no longer have an office in Dunedin we continue to serve a number of clients throughout New Zealand, working from Northland to Southland and every region in between.  There is no district in New Zealand that a member of our team has not worked within.

WHAT WE DO

There are two principles that determine the work we do and where we do it:

1. We need to be able to support the project or the desired outcome. While we are recognised problem solvers and pragmatists, for us to be effective, it is critical that we are able to defend a proposal under close scrutiny. We are not 'yes people'. Rather, we will consider the project or desired outcome and offer what we consider to be robust advice in relation to it. That has seen us advise clients that a project needs to be substantially modified or that the risk of securing an unacceptable outcome is high.
2. Where can we add the most value? We ask ourselves this with all projects. If we cannot add value, or f there are others that can add more, we recommend our clients approach them. Ultimately, we are committed to our clients getting the value that they need to achieve the outcomes they require. We put our clients' interests ahead of our own.

WHO WE DO IT FOR

We undertake work for territorial authorities, regional councils, families, individuals, tangata whenua groups / entities, farming entities and corporates (both small and large) and beyond. In every instance we work to be an extension of our clients. That sees us investing in understanding the client, their business, and their pressures and drivers, before we offer our advice.
