Tourism Bay of Plenty is a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO), funded by Tauranga City Council and Western Bay of Plenty District Council.
It is the Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for the Coastal Bay of Plenty, from Waihī Beach to Ōhope.
Tourism Bay of Plenty's purpose is to connect and enrich people and place through tourism.
Our goal is to preserve the Coastal Bay of Plenty’s unique identity, enhance visitor experiences, and increase investment and supply, whilst also ensuring that visitor-related developments complement the interests of local residents and communities.
