Employment Law Update seminar breakfast

It has been just over a year since the change in Government and there has been some significant changes in employment law for businesses to deal with. As indicated by the Government, there are even more changes promised. Given these changes, we wanted to take the opportunity to invite you to attend our Employment Law Update seminar at our Tauranga office on Tuesday 26 November 2024 at 7:30am. Breakfast will be provided.

 The presentation will cover a range of employment law updates/topics, including the following: 

•Proposed changes to the test for whether someone is an employee or a contractor including a look at the recent Uber decision; 

•Overview of changes to flexible working arrangements; •Summary of recent redundancy trends; •Recent (interesting) developments in case law;

 •Proposed changes to the Holidays Act; and 

•New Bills before Parliament.
